A very interesting rumor picking up speed today...

The Flyers are very interested in Matias Ekholm and I am hearing the high-ups are pushing for a big deal to try and separate the Flyers from the rest of the pack in the division...

The Predators are going to get a #1 pick plus for Ekholm....and perhaps the best offer the Preds will see will be the Flyers first-round pick PLUS Nolan Patrick, for Ekholm. One source tells me there is a chance the Flyers would also offer a conditional 3rd rounder, that would become a second-round pick is Patrick is out for more than half next season due to injuries.

frustrating to see them play how they did the last game (after 3-0), and then watch the old traits show up again. If they could find any consistency in their play, I would be a lot less concerned then I am now.
