He clearly plays a shift in the third, gets the puck at the right point and fires a slap shot, you can hear him cry out, grab for his chest and hold it all the way to the bench. I specifically watched the 3rd period this morning to see if I could spot anything and it was pretty clear. It could be his ribs again...or could be a shoulder issue from the hit.

Go rewatch his final shift genius. He takes the slap shot, cries out and bends over and clutches around his mid section/chest cavity.

fast forward to 5:33 and tell me where he reaches for his side. If they showed the other angle, you clearly see contact to the head. Also right after he goes and sits on the bench, he clearly has his eyes closed like he's shaking the cobwebs loose.

The league scheduling a hearing with Tom Wilson today over Zoom. This typically means he will get at least 5 games suspension, and maybe more since has a repeat offender. Also had a bad hit against Pittsburgh on 2/26 with no call, so this has been brewing. Good news for Flyers for next week's games against Caps!

That's the sad part, the guy has tons of skill and can still play hard, but thinks for some reason he has to cross the line. I just got done going on a rant about Wilson maybe a week or so ago about the Jankowski blindside hit, which was WAAAAAY worse than the Carlo hit, and far as I know he wasn't even fined.



Seriously if some degenerate thinks this is acceptable in any way they may need some help. You can literally watch Wilson in the background the whole time stalking waiting for the hit.

Yeah...that was my bad saying top of 3rd. it was with 37 seconds left in the second. He shoots at top of right point and immediately labors.

Maybe someone elsewho DVR'd it can verify so there is an independent set of eyes on it.

A little late for me, but I'll take just a penalty on that. If it didn't seem his MO is to hurt people, it wouldn't be so bad. But his disregard for health and safety of a fellow hockey player is just stupid. He has intent to hurt with his hits, thats my issue.

That hit he had was literally targeting the head, and the head only. He skated in and the guy was already a little bent over, he knew exactly what he was doing. The league needs to send him a message, I’d like to see at least 5 games. How many suspensions does this guy have?

I just wish someone would give a dirty hit to Wilson after he commits his. Sure people will fight him moments later, but in the actual moment, I wish someone would bite the bullet (for the league) and cross check him or slash him. Seems Reeves is the only one who doesn’t tolerate his poop.

Ok then there is no such thing as a suspendable hit by your standards, just as long as you don't swing your stick then it's just a penalty.

Updated: Maybe swinging the stick like a sissy is ok by you too, we haven't mentioned that yet.
