Really bad loss today, totally unacceptable. The Flyers need to make a trade and get some players who know how to make a pass, clear the zone and shoot the puck!

I think thats a terrible deal for Fletch if he makes it. Pick one or the other. The problem is how do you make the money work.

Why would Nashville want Nolan Patrick? You think their GM would trade his best asset for an risky player like Patrick and a 1st round pic in the 20s? Patrick hasn't scored in what, 14 games now? It makes no sense! The Predators are going to want NHL ready prospects and at least a first round pick. They are going to try to create a bidding war between multiple teams to maximize their trade asset. A lot of teams would love to have Ekholm. It will come down to which team wants him the most and is willing to fork over the most assets to get him.

Obviously Flyers aren’t contenders yet. The goaltending is still an issue. Elliott outplaying Hart isn’t the answer.

Defense needs upgrading. Someone needs to tell Hayes he is 6’5 220. Start driving the net the perimeter game is for guys like Farabee.

I think Hart is going through some growing pains which most likely won’t be figured out this year. Just like price went through his growing pains. I believe 100% Hart will be the best goalie in the league one day.

I love the depth the forwards have but someone needs to go to upgrade the D. I would love Risto out of Buffalo but I’m not sure that he is still available. Ekholm I don’t know much about.
