I predict Habs win as well but not in OT. Next Wed there is a game with the Canucks at 11pm EST like they can’t make it even later. First time I have seen a game after 10pm

they don't win 6-2 anymore, that time is over

mtl will win their games 2-1 or 3-2. If they don't do it often, they won't make the playoffs.

Would you trade for Vatanen? Is he on the market once again?

What moves would you do otherwise before the TDL?

I like Vatanen, attitude and disappointing start to his career and all but I just don't see a need for him, pretty deep on the RW already, not enough of a goal scorer to really move the needle... and in a perfect world, I target OEL, try to talk him into lifting his NMC to join the Habs, he would solve a lot of their problems, lots of money and futures would need to go the other way, probably more of an off season move but he is what they need... a Forsberg/Ekholm package from Nashville would also be very interesting

really? They could use skills upfront but I would not go there myself

Would not work with the cap anyway

Caufield could come later on, on the cheap but it could be too little too late at that point

Don’t think Caufield plays LW which is an area we need, unless we ship out some contracts I don’t see Hall coming. I do see a 4th line veteran centre and a dman as TDL targets but who we ship out is the question, I do want to see Lindholm and Haula on the team

I'm confused, he's a d. I think they need to fix their D. They could change their pairings as well before making a move. Maybe kulak with Petry, but I think they should change Chiarot and Weber as well.

Can't see OEL coming here during the season with mtl cap. Can't see Nashville trading Forsberg at all, but maybe Ekholm at first sight.
