Sorry I'm late on this but want my chance to vent/rant:

um, wtf?

- Pat1993

Penguins org is doing a poop job of ensuring their fans keep their masks on during the game. The Philly NBCSN broadcast of that game had plenty of shots of fans in the stands with their masks pulled down. And after that game a Philly player (Farabee) went onto the COVID protocol list. WTF indeed.
Maybe they were eating/drinking and stood up to cheer?

2800 people you're going to catch a few with their masks off. A picture catches a small moment in time.

- Streit2ThePoint

Again, watch the NBCSN broadcast. Multiple times they had shots panning the stands, and every time it showed fans here and there with the masks pulled down for an extended period of time. Just standing there. No eating. At one point the showed a guy pulling his mask down just so he can scream/shout whatever the (frank) he wanted. You think it would be easier to keep these fans in line since there's less of them, but no staff nowhere near in sight.

since it's a televised event you'd think the organization would be smart enough to closely monitor this kind of poop... but nope. lol

Sup, Pat? Anything interesting I missed today from the last blog?

Have you been checking up on LaunchBuzz?

Spring is hitting hard here. Saw my first anole throat display. Can't wait to see the first fight break out among those little buggers as they try to establish their territory for breeding.

My parents finally got their vaccine appointment. They need it. My dad has cataracts surgery soon and my mom might need some work done on one of her legs.

Kahlúa is a coffee liqueur from Veracruz, Mexico. The drink contains rum, sugar, and 100% arabica coffee.

hey, you probably didn't miss anything "interesting", although I have a hard time recalling what was discussed this afternoon, so I might not be the most reliable source lolll... this is basically the only thread I go to, so no I haven't checked on the launchbuzz lately... and you say you saw your first "anole throat"? kinda curious to know what that is...

and I'm glad your parents got their vaccine appointment, my 96-year-old grandmother is getting hers next week

Lacking first-line talent, there is no practical solution for the Hab's OT and Shoot-out failures. The team is simply too slow and absent offensive acumen. However, moving on from Ducharme and hiring a coach that prioritizes strict system play, similar to Barry Trotz, might enable the team to find greater success. As this season is likely the final opportunity to be competitive, I would strongly suggest Bergevin abandon the foolish francophone only requirement and hire a coach suitable to this roster.
