No, this is the cure

The cure sounds worse than the disease.

Just cracked open the box set. Going to watch a few episodes before dinner.

Watching the episode Horror in the Heights.

Best part is Kolchak developing his own pictures.

The HB and politics mix is probably your issue.

HB and wine works fine

Do the math...

The darkroom sequence was such a good dramatic device. And old school rotary phones ringing. Smartphones (frank)ed up movies.

The real effin vampires in Night Stalker was a good dramatic device, too.

Too bad Canadians will not be able to go to the games if they have some attendance.
- Aetherial

You can go, but you have to quarantine for 14 days afterwards, might as well stay for the finals also.

No, you could fly there, and come home and pay your 3000+ dollars to stay in a poopty hotel eating poopty food and that is if you can even get a room in one of these poopty hotels.

I suppose that's fine, I just saw the latest vaccination plan and my demographic will be last in line anyway.

Night Gallery episodes stayed with me. The old lady who buried her freshly severed finger at the hands of a bad guy, and she sprouts another sinister version of her, seeking revenge.
The guy who could transport into a painting. He chose one of a guy fishing in a serene lake. He was running from the Germans, it was dark, and he stood in front of the painting and transported, only to find himself crucified and in agony. The gallery switched paintings. So many good ones.

Anybody who loves the Leafs enough to get their BMI up to 40 can get an early vaccine and go.

Once in a (short) lifetime

I should get my shot in April even before new Pfizer and J and J doses figured in

You want a headache, try quitting caffeine cold turkey after years of mad dog usage. The withdrawal is (frank)ed up.
- Zezel

I tried that once, never again. And in my stupidness I went around wondering what was causing my headache, until my wife mentioned caffeine withdrawal.

I promptly brewed the strongest pot ever made and I haven’t looked back since.

The other thing I learned from my neurologist is about rebound headaches caused by pain relievers that get rid of your original headache.

I also find a reason to head out in the afternoon to get a coffee somewhere.

Which reminds me, I saw a big ass wild turkey sitting on the median in Burlington coming home from errands around 4:00 this afternoon. Plains and Waterdown for anyone who knows the town.

There's always good ones...it's just funny that texting and the internet is a key part of himan experience now, but it is really boring to represent on film.

We don’t have wild turkeys here. I know a guy who heads to Ontario every year to go on a turkey hunt.
According to him they’re so adept at avoiding getting shot that it’s a real challenge.

I’ve seen them in the back yard before as well as turkey vultures which are Brad Marchand ugly. Seeing a lot of foxes this winter, sitting under trees on the side of suburban streets and one in our backyard just playing with our dog’s toy ball without a care in the world.

Coyotes are big this year too (one was in the backyard across the street) and saw deer in the backyard last year. Just bought whistles for the coyotes - mostly to make my wife feel better. Our dog is a Golden and I think should be ok but neighbour has a little purse dog that they let out and it is snack size so we’ll give them one.

I live in Connecticut... but the northwest part of the state - very treed somewhat hilly. Find it hilarious (in a kind of sad way) when you see stuff on messages boards about "out little dog is missing" or "have you seen this cat"... the coyotes here are very opportunistic ... every year loads of people losing cats, small dogs.

the ability to see the wildlife has defintely gone up considerably since covid, bears were regular visitors in my back yard last spring and again in the fall.

"purse dog".. haven't heard that one before

We have big coyotes here. About ten years ago a young lady from Ontario was killed by a small pack of them while on a hiking trail.

I see coyotes all the time biking in the ravines in Toronto, and deer quite often along the Humber, and I mean Bloor and south, right downtown there are deer.

Edmonton is like that too. Coyotes are really small there, the ones here look like a big German Shepherd. But they are rarely seen.

Yeah I lived in Edmonton, all that green space along the river..

I've seen some big-ass coyotes in Toronto, definitely like a Shepherd size. One trotted in front of my bike on the Eglinton bike path for a while and then took off into the golf course.
