Can't believe I'm saying this, but I am excited E-Rod is back to play for the 4th line. Him Lafferty and Jankowski could be a fast line. I just worry none of them really excell at controlling the puck.

As a side note I did see an interesting Vancouver trade proposal on cap friendly. It was E-rod and Sceviour for Virtanen.

1. I’d sign that so fast the paper would catch fire

2. Angello looked decent in his limited action last year if I recall correctly.

Bob Errey is nearly as bad as Jack Edwards. Babbling fools.

Honestly I don’t watch with a high enough volume to actually listen anymore since the games are always around baby bed time.

On one hand I can't believe it. On the other hand both are FAs and Vancouver just paused extension talks with Hughes and Petterson because they are tight cap wise next year so maybe.

Guessing the Pens would still need to add a pick or mid prospect but I'd hop all over that. I think Virt is a guy who could have an epiphany here.

Although he just put up 2 goals last game Virt has struggled mightily and has been a healthy scratch this year. I think for van they just want his 2.5m off the books.

D Pairs today:
Dumo/Letang
Matheson/Ceci
Pettersson/Marino

This is either going to be great or a total disaster.

I didn't think it was much. If McCann doesn't have the puck it's not a penalty.

Marino out of position again - left JVR right in front on the PP. How does that happen??

Pens need some "protect the crease" drills in practice. Bring in some tackling dummies or something.

Sceviour gets that puck deep. If the fourth lines going to suck regardless I’d at least like to safely suck.

Get Lafferty the hell out of here. He's bum. Dude makes constant bad decisions.

Laughably bad. But keep trying those passes to the blue line in the offensive zone. Always backwards. So passive, just like their coach.

I thought Elliott got blocked by his defender but nope, he just got frozen by Geno.

Something tells me a fight is brewing but the Pens literally have no one who can throw down.

That’s why I don’t like Jake as the net front guy. Geno was on his backhand and when that went in Jake was backing away from the play instead of crashing the net. If that leaves Geno’s stick early nobody is going to be there to put it in. Seems like that stuff happens all the time with our team.

He’s a lot higher iq than petts. If his skating is good I think he will be ok.

I glad they got a pp goal but not from individual skill. Enough will mask how terrible this pp is. They need more systemic goals and proper setups not geno remembering how to machine
