Yeah. Unless Adams can pull off some impressive trading this year I don’t see eichel lasting too much longer.

I have no problem with the Marino contract. I always thought the #1 defenseman was a reach, but I'd put much better odds on him outperforming that deal than underperforming it. You want to develop young players, it's rarely a smooth ride.

Petts, could have done a bridge. I think he lives up to it, but not as likely to out-perform and give you extra value.

Amazing how many players Boston has to go after Wilson and yet they still manage to be a really good hockey team.

The best part is trading a 4th line scrub for a really good hockey player for 5 minutes a pop.

Someone will "bertuzzi" Wilson someday and everyone will claim that player should be out of the league Yada Yada Yada. How many times did we hear that sid and geno were targets because cooke played on the team. Maybe teams need to start taking out other caps players instead.

I absolutely agree. Frederic isn't a heavyweight but he plays with some fire.

Every team should respond to Wilson like Boston did. Make Wilson fight multiple times per game. Notice how Washington was on its heels when guys started going after him? Unfortunately I think Crosby is the teams best fighter so the Pens don't really have anything to offer.

Also, the perfection line really is incredible. I can't think of a better line in the last I don't know how long... they all know right where the others will be at every moment. That goal last night was just beautiful.

Would Angello do better in a bigger role? He scored some goals in the A, I looked up hid fight card and he always gets his ass beat. Why not try him on a line where he may touch the puck once in awhile?

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I am excited E-Rod is back to play for the 4th line. Him Lafferty and Jankowski could be a fast line. I just worry none of them really excell at controlling the puck.

As a side note I did see an interesting Vancouver trade proposal on cap friendly. It was E-rod and Sceviour for Virtanen.

So same as every other top six winger not named rust or Guentzel although I wouldn’t call either of their play consistent this year. I say try him with Malkin.

Yeah he made it to wbs. He looks like a decent 3rd pair though now, which prob happened after learning how to play defence in Uber defenceland Nashville.
