Heard on the fan this morning....

What do we have left 34 games....something like that? 16 against Buff and NJ. Washington and the Islanders both have 7 of their wins against those two teams. Philly with 6 wins against those two teams. The whole division has gotten fat on beating those two teams. Boston is 1 and 3 against NJ.

The thing that worries me is that they will play their hearts out against pitt. Nj always gives Pitt trouble and buffalo idk if they don’t want to lose eichel they need to do something after the pummelling nyi just gave them for a week.

With our current roster deficiencies, the first leg of our season against the better teams in our division probably turned out close to best case scenario of what was reasonable to expect.

Boston just got shut out by Jersey. I had the game on and actually watched the last couple minutes. Boston could have scored five goals but nothing went in for them.

I've been baking bread for about five years and it's definitely a lost art. My favorite thing to make is Sourdough and bagels. It became really popular again over the pandemic. There were (frank)ing flour shortages lol.

I think the best recipe for starting out is a basic no-knead dutch oven bread. Do you have a dutch oven?

This is one I've used before. Not sure if you can view it.

Just picked up some Zapp's Voodoo Chips and making a muffulleta sandwich right for the 2nd period. Fresh market bread, can't say I've ever made my own bread.

I could see NJ putting up a fight, but Buff is dreadful.

The Pens could turn in their worst effort against Buffalo and the only reason they'd lose would be puck luck. Buffalo is that bad.

Pretty sure Marino wasn't the one that got dropped down the line-up.
- Tojo.

Well I wasn’t lying. Matheson and Ceci started as the 2nd pair and playing with Geno’s line right off the bat.

Anyone else just notice Geno lay a Ranger on his a$$ by the Pens bench behind the play just now? Hahah

Remember way back when when Geno straight up murdered Girardi behind the net in a game? Very cathartic because that was the era when Rags fans would come in here and talk a bunch a poop about how Girardi was a Malkin stopper.

It's so fulfilling. Once you start making your own bread it's hard to buy other bread.

My wife loves making bread. We got a bread maker from our registry, but I've changed my diet to really cut carbs since shreddin' for the weddin' so she never uses it because she doesn't want to eat a whole loaf herself. Hopefully the baby grows up to love bread.

That's awesome, man... Did you try to post a pic of one you made? If so, it didn't work, but I'd love to see haha

I tried but I guess I don’t know how. It’s a long story but started making them for my daughter when she got into guitar class in school. Then I ended up making a violin when she decided to change. Now she plays the flute 😂

The thing g about the breakouts in practice is that it’s against our own D so they prob work great.

Oh I know that's how they listed it, just not how I'd expect it to play out. And they probably don't want Matheson playing with their shutdown line. Pettersson-Marino should get more ice, but MM has had a couple marathon shifts where he can't get off the ice this period.

If you do indulge, you should do sourdough. It doesn't spike insulin the same way, so it digests better and turns to fat less.
