The size of those two is going to give teams problems. If Kakko can get back up to speed pretty quick it could be a really nice line.

I just don't think it will be long until Panarin is back in mixing up these pairings. No way he can be the "odd man out" when configuring lines. BUT he does drive offense wherever he goes, so might be a blessing in disguise to give him positive matchups.

I know we kill him all the time, but the rangers PK is top 5 now and he is a big reason why. Coaches love pkers so I don’t think he’ll be out of the lineup. He’s not a pt producer at all, but he does bring something to the table at least. If he could just win 55% of his faceoffs he’d be much more valuable

This is what I want to see when Panarin and Kakko are back. Keep Buch with Laf and Kreider with Strome, and maybe Panarin can get Zib going

if the team is scoring and Howden plays the 4th line and kills penalty he's doing enough until we get that big center
