Just finished watching the full game and some quick thoughts:

1) Don't look now, but Strome is playing a very strong, productive game. Just need all our centers to WIN FACEOFFS!

2) Hajek is starting to fulfill the early promise that he showed before he got hurt. Forget for a moment he scored a nice goal, he had a good, solid game DEFENSIVELY. Going to make for some interesting roster decisions when Trouba gets back

3) Chytil has been gaining some real positive momentum in his recent play. His lower body is thick ( reminds me a bit of a young Jagr ) but he is FAST. Lets hope he continues to improve

4) Georgi needs to play better. Got the win today but 2 goals were soft. You can get away with that against the Devils, but not the better teams in the division.

5) Speaking of the Devils --- they are TERRIBLE defensively! Our speed gave them fits and Blackwood got hung out to dry too many times. Even without Panarin, we put up 12 goals on them in 2 games and it should have been MORE. Lindy Ruff going to Jersey might have been a bigger net positive than the Rangers could have hoped for!

Third on the team now in points. Still don't think he is the answer long term for the 2nd line center. Chytil is the future there.

Gauthier šŸŽ šŸŽ suck it haters

Didnā€™t see much of the game being at work. That Fox goal omg šŸ˜† and that Kakko assist was gorgeous all around play

Patience fellas, itā€™s coming together little by little. We need Panarin back, i wish weā€™d get some word. Itā€™s all very weird, and a little uncomfortable

weā€™re 4 pts out of a playoff spot. Thatā€™s with Zib playing terrible, Panarin has been out, Trouba has been out, Chytil just got back and LAF looks like the player we drafted 1OA. When healthy this is what Iā€™d like to see, matchup nightmares for other teams

Panarin Chytil Blackwell
Kreider Strome Kakko
Buch Zib LAF
Lemeuix Rooney Gauthier

Miller Trouba
Lindgren Fox

He and Kreider have a thing yo. We have given him some crap in the past, but for the third year in a row heā€™s showing heā€™s productive. This surprised me, heā€™s only 27 (same age as Mika).

Itā€™s so important to be able to roll three lines deep. If the money worked out, I would be perfectly fine with Strome as the 3c.

As long as he learns to win faceoffs. Can't have a shadow on the first or 2nd line.
Strome has been solid. Suck it TPC.

Side note: Whatā€™s up with Bitteto? He was filling in well and then went down with a lower body injury.

So you have Blackwell taking faceoffs for Chytil? I really like how Chytil's game is coming along, but you can't have a top center that can't win faceoffs. Chytil said he is playing wing, don't know how long that will be.

I actually view it as three ā€œtop 6ā€ lines that play a very well rounded game. Skill, responsibility, speed and a playmaker on each one (Panarin, Laf, Kakko).

Darn Putin ruined everything. Get Panarin back so the Rangers can lose again.

Rangers winning and Islander winning?

I cannot handle this madness. At least Buffalo is still losing so the world makes a little sense.

Kravtsov eventually is going to replace someone and Iā€™m telling you, Howden is going to stay in. Just a heads up If Blackwell stays in for Gauthier Iā€™ll lose my poop

Blackwell is like Aaron Voros. I know heā€™s loved here lol.

This is exactly what Iā€™d do too, with Howden subbing in sometimes

And then Kravstov makes it a real log jam when he gets here

And Morgan Barron too.

Because heā€™s finally getting more of a chance, playing well and heā€™s 6ā€™4.

Wasnā€™t that what he had to do stay in the lineup from the masses here?

Blackwell is a good/nice player, but Jesus you all act like heā€™s Zuccarello

I actually really like Blackwell. Gauthier has a tough road ahead in the top 9 without a trade.
