Remember when Brad Richards got hit from behind (Against Buffalo I believe) and people were saying he faked it. It looked like he got shot and he returned to the game. Nerves can cause a lot of pain without serious damage.

jokes have a structure and context. if the joke was "i'm going to imitate someone who thinks everyone's a wimp because those people are funny to me" that would be a joke. no amount of tone or inflection would make whatever that was a joke, but rather an insight into what he actually thinks and then a flip to being defensive. be true to who you are my man
