Looked like a really major groin issue to me. And from the way he was going off, I say he's done for the season, maybe less a handful of games.
That is speculation, but from the way he didn't get his right leg all the way extended and then yanked it back in and rolled away from it, that's my guess.

Getting Chytil back solves a bunch of problems. I'm not going to celebrate too much, that was a competitive game until we ran up the score a bit.

Nobody told us to tank. We are just not a well constructed team. Very limited net front presence. No cross ice play down low (except the rare 2 on 1; the Shesterkin injury aside - sorry. That sucks and I don't like seeing guys get hurt. Maybe Sean Avery). Patchwork defense. Stinking it up since 2013.... Once our goaltending stopped being outstanding we're in trouble. Some good kids but a ways to go.

Still love playing you guys but wish we were both dominant clubs and this rebuild garbage would end. I'm suffering from Covid Lockdown cabin fever and long term rebuild exhaustion...

That's huge. And real surprising to me, based on the fact that he put zero weight on it leaving the ice. It even looked like they were going to lay him down and get a stretcher rather than walk to the room.
