that's really messed up. and it makes the league look reaaaally bad while they're basically being considered as an "essential service"

At best, it hurts the "we need fans in the stands and can do it responsibly" argument

Aside from Petry and Romanov, none of the defensemen can play in OT

...and they didn't even use Romanov last night

He had that one poopty overtime a few games back but skill and skating wise he does seem one of the few fits.

Weber, for what it's worth, is one of the all time over time goal scorers. Like top 50 I believe. I'd have to look it up. But skating 3 on 3...yikes

Edit: 113 all time which is still quite high

Kulak skates pretty well. i'd have him out there over Weber/Chiarot/Edmundson.

At that point we could just send 6 forwards like Winnipeg did.

These guys can't make an outlet pass other than shoving the puck on the boards.

Maybe they were eating/drinking and stood up to cheer?

whatever, they gotta figure this poop out. one thing that's clear now is that the last 12 games are far more indicative of this team's quality than the first 10 games were. which means that generally speaking, they're going to have a hard time scoring goals most nights and they're going to rely on defensive fundamentals and goaltending. that means low-scoring games and low-scoring games mean frequent OT. you can't just lose every OT game and hang your hat on the loser point when every game is against your playoff competition.

I agree. However when you photoshop to cover it up it creates the impression that it is more than just a small moment in time but rather a consistent issue you're trying to hide

agreed, but it just makes it look even worse when they're trying to cover it up and lie to people about it

The defense is slow and not that great at moving the puck quickly

i could see it watching the game. i'm sure it'll be the same in our building. when you get a sizeable group of people together there are always going to end up being a few bumholes. that goes for everything, anywhere. poop, just look at what we're doing right now. the internet. every single thread has its stupid bumholes and morons among the normal people.
