It's like batting average which can swing in the first 300 at bays and then after that is a better indicator of the hitter. Same thing here, 889 sucks as a whole but for one game it is what it is and he's still only played 6 games and the staff is working with him after each game

Right. Imagine if the second goal doesn't go in. He suddenly has a .945 sv pctg. Do we come away saying he was marvelous because the save pctg says so?

Btw: the Dr. Seuss crap is insanity, but I'll keep that can of worms closed

And If the first goal doesn’t t go in he suddenly has a shutout. Same with every goalie if they don’t let in any goals. Fact is he did
If MM scored another goal he would have had a hat trick

IF Upstate had a square ass he would shat bricks

We can what if stats to death but numbers typically don’t lie.

If we switched varlamov with Sorokin and had this conversation you, me, and this entire thread, knows you would be telling me sv% on a game by game basis is not a great depiction of a goalies game. I’m not even sticking up for Sorokin he has some things to improve upon but you’re fooling no one

Boston cancelled all advanced classes in 5 through 7 th grades because it wasn't fair to minorities. 70% of the kids were white and asain but the district is 80% black and Latino

Numbers lie all the time. Any fan knows that.
Rob Brown scored 49 goals in 68 games. Was he a 50 goal scorer? Hell no. He had Mario Lemieux bouncing pucks off him like a pinball bumper all season.
The point is, by the save percentage logic one goal was the difference between a sub par performance and a fantastic one. It's a crap stat to judge a one game performance on

The racial card being played in politics right now is beyond moronic imho.
Did we vote a black man into office twice in this country?

We will agree to disagree that sOrOk3n and Johansson both played great games. As I said before I thought sOrOk3n didn’t play as well last night as his prior 2 starts. Didn’t look as comfortable to me, fought the puck a bit.

Meh, that’s not true, if I think Varly plays like shat I say it. That’s not fair, I’m not agreeing with any of that shat. I’m just not spewing all over myself after a 6 game window. I get it, he’s the threads sweetheart and can do no wrong. It’s a total spin of the truth on here. Ryan Pulock was the last darling on here, and I would get crushed if I called him out for missing the net. Which the (frank)er still does

1 question, yes or no, Do you think sOrOk3n played great last night or as well as his previous 2 starts? Because basically that’s what I said, and pointed out both goalies save %.

I agree he wasn’t as sharp as the previous two games. Honest question who in here said he played great last night?

Don’t spin this on me.

We agree on sOrOk3n’s play last game.

No one did. Moreover no one has said he is a great goalie, they've only said he has the potential to be a great goalie. Most on here have said Sorokin needs to adjust his game to the NHL and that will take some time.

Don’t know who it was, but fantastic the last 3 games was posted.

Just one question if everyone thinks he didn’t play as well as last couple game why am I getting shat?
