If I had to choose between exposing him or Eberle, I think I'd probably lean Bailey. Eberle would take an extra 500k off the cap, but he's playing well right now and Bailey has been a little inconsistent

If it’s between Eberle and Bailey I don’t think it’s really a tough decision and 500,000 isn’t making it any tougher.

Do the Islanders have to protect sorokin for the expansion draft

I was considering it from the Seattle side. If Bailey is exposed, do you take him? I think that is a really tough call.

Ah ok...yea it's a tough one. Probably depends on what other deals they can swing and for who.

He's a good top-nine option though and he's pretty versatile. But he'll be 32 and signed for another 3 years at a moderate cap hit (or a higher one, depending on what happens with the cap in the next few years).

I don't think that Seattle is going to get the same windfalls Vegas ended up getting though. I think teams in the league learned and are going to be a lot more cautious with who they either trade them or leave exposed. The fact that the Panthers gave them Marchessault so that they'd draft Smith is absolutely hilarious to me

Bruins shutout by the Devils on 40 shots. Bet they'll be a cheery bunch on Tuesday

I thought the same after the Islanders stuffed their fudge in the last game. But then the Rangers stoved them in the next day.

Sooo... 🤷‍♂️

Can only hope for some more fudge stuffing.
