So his timeline is okay with you?

Why are my feelings important ? Think what you want . React how you want. Cheer for what ever team you want.

He never said anything today that I already didn't know.

Ya i mean what do you expect him to say?! They always spurt the same gm bs, it’s the same with the other 30 teams GMs. They probably will still get canned at the end of the year, i do hope he sells and would have like to hear about that. But ya, nothing surprising here.

I didn't waste my time and believe me I have a lot of time to waste.
I have no intentions of listening to him stumble and bumble his way through another press conference or interview.

I am not sure he gets canned.

Players are getting switched even as we speak. Loui has played 5 games this year. He has moved to the taxi squad they brought in Hoglander to the top 6. No impact on the NHL salary with Loui on the taxi squad , in fact a small savings.

I expect Roussel to be gone next year and replaced by a ELC.

Im not convinced either. I do think Green will be, this is just too much of letdown season. Jb is 50/50.

Benning is on the 650 right now having some more info on matters. He says him and ownership talk about every three days with a good relationship.

He says ownership support that they are building through the draft. Again Loui out Hogs in. Next year Roussel out? Pods in? When plyers are ready they are replacing. He says a lot of players are really close on Utica.

Sounds about right. Likely one of the d too. They were seeming to be ahead of schedule, now it seems like they are that team that’s a few away again. I had this year as their first playoff, northern division and cramped schedule has not been kind. D still needs work, i still hate myers but overall don’t hate the direction. If he does get sacked, after the draft is best.

One thing I like about the last few weeks is how well the team has played.

First 16 games were a tire fire but last 8 they are getting their poop together. Players seem to be getting use to each other and playing much better. I like how most periods they are keeping other teams scoring chances and shots down. They beat two of the best teams in the last three games, keep it going.

Playing much better, even in losses. If they play out the year like this at least it’s watchable hockey. It would be nice to see a win streak just to have a positive.

i agree. if the team keeps it up and gets on a run, the playoffs aren't out of the picture.

and based on last night, the leafs definitely don't want to meet the canucks in the first round.

Even a couple of weeks ago the Canucks had a great first two periods against them. Like you said they need to go on a run .

I've watched 6 of 8 Utica games so far.

Gadjovichs 7 goals in 8 games are no fluke - he's got great hands and spends most of his time in front and around the net. He's hard on the boards, hits and fights. To me he looks about as fast as Loui so I would be happy with him becoming a 4th liner. I guess the positive is that he'd be cheap and under control for 4-5 more years & somewhat effective in that role.

Lind reminds me of a mix between Motte and Roussel. More of a playmaker but can score and is pesky/rough, skating & speed has improved. I like that he's adapting to centre. Hopefully he gets games next year.

Rathbone immediately looks like he doesn't belong in the AHL. His skating is on another level, I think he's actually faster than QH but not quite as good on his edges. I don't see why he can't run the PP someday. However, like QH, he's a rover and a bit of an adventure - he takes risks to make plays. I Need to watch him more on the defensive side of his game.

Woo seems to be improving every game, more stay at home, but he's a good skater and is starting to make the easy/smart play. He's rough, I like that. Probably a good idea for him to play another year in Utica or depending maybe a call up late next season?

Focht got some wheels and is pretty smart, glad he's a centerman. He needs another year for sure. Not sure where to project him yet. Same with Lockwood, he's fast and looking like a PK guy, not sure he's gonna put up a lot of points. I need to watch these guys more closely.

It sucks the result are not there. But I'd rather be where we are now than when JB took over. At least our best players are under 25. We have some real prospects to join them in the next 1-2 years. The bloated old contracts (oops) will be gone soon.

Thanks a lot . That is pretty well where I had every one of those players.

I see them bringing in Rathbone pretty similar to how they are handling OJ. I want to see OJ get more time but understand they are trying to make the playoffs.

I had Lockwood pegged like a Motte like guy.

I am glad to hear about Fotch . I think it is reasonable to expect more time for some.

Thanks for the updates and keep us posted all year. I am not watching them play even though I follow every game so I appreciate the input.
