Different scenarios, Torts wouldn’t even attend practice.

This from the inter web

My guess is Sutter doesn't even turn the heat on in the old farm truck during the drive down from Viking to Calgary. He'll milk the cows, feed the pigs, shoot an owl, and then hit the road.”

- Pacificgem

Randy Sportak: “Having covered the Flames during all of Sutter’s time, I’ll say this: If these guys think Hartley was a hard-ass, they ain’t seen nothing yet. Then again, the way this team has been so uneven with its effort, there’s no doubt the players need a daily Sutter-like kick in the ass.”

Why? That would be three teams getting rid of him in three years.

He's a good player, friends and chemistry with Bo, if you're able to buy low it's a top 6 player to add in.

I think if he was a really good player he wouldn't have 3 teams in 3 years on his resume. IMO.

I would think more buyer beware

Maybe I just don't hate TG as much as others... I think he's a decent coach who is just running a flawed roster, and his inexperience/assistants aren't helping him.

I'm not sure the Canucks have bad habits, or new habits that need to be formed?

I'd also like an offseason for them to talk to candidates, and *hopefully* have a new GM in to hire a new coach to take the team forward.

What I find interesting is MTL & CAL, two teams with better records and games in hand on VAN made coaching changes. Validates FA's unwavering support of his GM & Coach.

Funny thing is the whiners wanted an extensive interviews this time and done properly and hire a coach with experience. This week look on the rolodex and see who is available.

It's a combination of a great many things. Green is still learning like most coaches early in their career but I doubt ownership has the patience to wait it out for another 4 years. He has the ingredients to win games here as we seen last night...but some of his decisions are just baffling. Like spiting the media/fans last year by outright refusing to put Toffoli with Pearson...a very Babcock-esque move which points to Greens arrogance on some matters.

I'll bet he comes back with Holtby after another stellar Demko performance....

What’s amazing is how much the Blackhawks have on LTIR this season.

When was the last time Sutter coached, Kings 2014ish?

I think Sutter will have a bit of a rude awakening now that the NHL is fully ruled by Zennials and Z’s with their “you have to ask nicely and I want to feel like I’m contributing”...

The world (game) has changed.

I didn't say he was a really good player. I said he was a good player

TJ Miller also had 3 teams in 4 years, so not always the best guage

There is some speculation that Sutter was already in quarantine, as per nhl protocol, so this move may have already been planned, if that is the case.
