Defense the same, Hart in goal again tonight! - jd250
It was TK's first game back on Tuesday, so I expect more from him tonight, plus he will get more offensive time on the 2nd line instead of the 4th line. Lindblom and Patrick always seemed to have good chemistry before they both got hurt/sick. Hopefully they find that chemistry again?
The Flyers were playing good until Ghost gave up that brutal giveaway ( and his lack of defense f/o our net for another Pen's goal ). That giveaway seemed like a punch to the gut for the Flyers and the Flyers never seemed to recover. Hopefully the Fly Boys score first and don't have to chase the Pens the whole game?
They lost one of their top pairing Dman ( not their fault) but have yet to address it. It is quite evident there is need to replace Niskanen, especially if they want to compete in this division. - 3flyerkids
I remember saying this when Niskanen retired, and hearing the Flyers fans say how bad he sucked, how we didn't need him, he was overpaid, had no heart, blah-blah-blah..... - Nh_kong
I don't know where you've heard/seen Flyers fans saying/writing this, but it definitely wasn't here. Everyone pretty much knew his retiring would create a big hole (which still needs to be addressed) and thus would be very much missed.
I think Pronman's analysis was done before O'Brien's season got underway, which at the time would have been fair analysis. But right now O'Brien is one of the best players on BU, and really showing some dynamic play. I also wouldn't make the leap that he will choose the least aggressive path. I think the Flyers scouts and brass will have a lot to say about where he plays next season, either they believe he needs more seasoning at BU or he is ready to make the jump. I will say physically speaking, he is ready to take the jump, but if he plays next season at BU and continues to progress as he is, he will be one of the best forwards in college hockey. - jd250
O’Brien scored a hat trick against Vermont, a team that has 1 win for the season. In the other 12 games that he played he scored 4 goals. So based on that you know he is going to be “one of the best forwards in college hockey”. Lol OK whatever. I hope he does well.

Not sure why you would post their lines, flyers Twitter literally declared Moose the starter 4 hours ago. Those looks like the lines that finished the game, no?
About Sam, that is what I have been asking all along, why put the player at wing when you need a big tough defenseman, especially on the PK? At this point I would leave him on defense and if he can stay healthy and really hone his game, maybe he is option late in the season or the playoffs. If he gets hurt again, so be it at this point, you can't make decisions based on fear of injury. - jd250
I think you’re on target here. We need him at d and that’s what he knows how to play. I was surprised to see him played at wing but maybe they wanted to have him on the big squad as a way to reward him for the hard work he’s put in? I don’t know. My personal feeling is that I’d like him to get lots of ice time in the a, and if he keeps playing well, bring him up late this year or next. Not like we can’t use him ffs
I keep thinking of the money ball scene with Scott Hattenurg when they want him to change from c to 1B. Hey. 1b is not that hard. Wash. Tell him. It’s incredibly hard. Haha
Well. We could regret not winning the last game haha
Also weird that our guys were out for 2 weeks and he’s out 2 days. Must have only been a mistaken exposure or something. I hope our whole team doesn’t get it again
