Pick 6's? - HawkintheD
It was last game of the season against the Packers I think one pass was 70 yards all in the air. |

So we will continue to give him a chance? And not the other 23 year old who can actually put some points up?? Mmmkay - BetweenTheDots
Strome is getting (and will continue to get) chances on this team. Where have you seen that he won't (or is this directed to those who don't think he should)? |

Don't worry, Mr. Strome, your boy is getting a boat load of chances, and will get more. Maybe he'll develop short area quickness while on the shelf. Your son has already had more chance to succeed in the NHL, with about 180 games played. Nylander has about 80. Wasn't it you, Mr. Strome, who said you need 250 games to judge a player? |

I would be shocked considering how light we are with higher end talent forwards. Kurashev, Suter are more 3rd line secondary scoring players. IMO. Rechel, Dach, and Cat are really the only top 6 young players we have. what he would return compared to what he can offer the hawks it makes more sense to keep him instead of getting back a B prospect or 3rd - kmw4631
I do not think he will be dumped.
- Would you be shocked if we got back a prospect or young player with the same potential and the same risk as Nylander?
- I could see him going to Toronto to play with his brother? They are up against the cap and might take the risk and pay a fair price.
- He is an RFA. Could someone offer him more than $2.1 mil. If so that would bring the Hawks a 2nd round pick. I don't think the Hawks will offer him more than $2.1 mil. But someone could? Kraken?
We all have seen stupid deals and stupid contracts. It could happen. |

One is on a lower cap hit and can skate, the other one is slow, higher cap hit and has not produced this year. Bottom line is I would give Nylander until next year to see how he develops, and Strome, well it really depends on Toews, if Toews comes back healthy there is no need or room for Strome’s skill set. The best scenario is for Toews to return to play, and for Strome to put up some points so it drives up his value for a trade. |

That wasn’t 250 games, it was 250 seconds. |

But true. Douglass probably had the strongest arm in NFL history. The guy could throw a ball for miles. As my Dad would say, he couldn't hit Kate Smith in the ass with a handful of rice from 2 paces. |

Nylander will be back. For two reasons mainly. He will be cheap and at the moment he isn't standing in the way of anyone in the system. If he flops, they waive him and send to the Rock. If he puts up 30-35points and he is perfectly capable of that, he is a huge value at his cap hit. |

Not so sure. I wonder if he was playing onw, and saw all the new youngsters busting their A$$'s out there it wouldn't wear off and make him a bit more competitive. Sometimes that can be contagious. - vabeachbear
He will receive an opportunity because he is here and a decision must be made sooner or later to pay him or cut bait. You know Bowman likes his talent and Bowman knows it is a process for Nylander. Nylander must move from assimilate to application rendered. Hopefully Nylander realizes he hangs himself with a rope if he cannot cut it in Chicago. So
he better find a way to motivate or push himself harder. Often skill players believe that they can experience success on talent alone. The college of hard knocks kicks in the teeth but Nylander must accept it is up to him, his effort. Sort of like it is senior year; you graduate or you meander to nowhere.

Any truth to the rumor that his receivers broke his wrist so that he couldn’t fling 120 MPH passes at them from 10 yards away? |

That's great, love the old man's line. Gordon was the only receiver who could catch his throws 1/2 the time. I think he pitched for the Sox for a very brief time. No (frank)ing way I step in the box with him on the mound. |

Had the QB rushing record until Vick broke it in 16 games, over 900 yards. |

Probably so. He was really dangerous passing into the end zone inside the 10 yard line. |

Richard Gordon led the league in catches either the 1-13 year or the year after? I think the 1-13 year the Blackhawks came in 1st, Tony0's first season... |

What a crying shame that Steve Larmer hasn't been inducted into the HOF..... Growing up watching him was pretty special until I got to see the great Hoss play. Probably the two best 2 way forwards to wear the Indian Head. Smdh |
