Yeah, apparently kimchi might mold if you have any veggie matter poking out of the water. They say you can just toss out the affected pieces and clean the neck of the jar. I used a canning spring/weight to push everything down. I might give it a try today and see how it is. It should be going in the fridge starting tomorrow.

I am interested in doing Kraut and not sure about Kombucha, I've never had it. Want to send over a recipe?

I’m sure I already know the answer but figured it could be fun to debate, would u guys have preferred to have our #1 and #2 picks flipped in 2019 and 2020? Instead of LAF and Kakko we’d have Hughes and Byfield. Do you think we’d be better off long term?

A little late to the party here but I'm kind of torn also, just from a positional standpoint. It's so hard with teenagers to know how they're going to pan out but at the moment I'd rank them:

1. Laf
2. Hughes
3. Kakko
4. Byfield

Byfield and Kakko could easily be swapped but until Byfield plays an NHL game he has to be at the bottom of this list. I prefer having the best player of the bunch in Laf so I'm happy with what we got but if either Laf or Kakko were a center this wouldn't be a question in my mind.
