I’m sure I already know the answer but figured it could be fun to debate, would u guys have preferred to have our #1 and #2 picks flipped in 2019 and 2020? Instead of LAF and Kakko we’d have Hughes and Byfield. Do you think we’d be better off long term?

Maybe in terms of a balanced roster but the Rangers got the clear cut best player in 2020 and 1B in 2019. I would not trade it.

I want to try that Little Caesars pretzel pizza abomination.
- JRR1285

I had Little Caesars once,
Think I'd rather have Ellios.

Not exactly. Think more along the lines of a kielbasa and a coarse file.

I had ellios way too much as a kid. I know it's also cheap trash, but when we had Tombstone that was a huge upgrade.

I'm with Jim on this one, I'd rather stay as is. I really do think Kakko is going to prove to be better than Hughes. Before he landed on the Covid list, Kakko was starting to look dominant out there. We still need the centers, but nothing wrong with having some supremely talented wingers on the roster.

Ellios has its place and I still grab a box every so often. I worked in an actual pizza place for nearly a decade so it seems sacrilegious but we all admitted to buying it once in a while.

Jan, has there been any discussions on why Tarmo has t been card up yet? The play of JJ and Brenden Smith has def warranted at least a look! And in Eichel, no no and he’ll no! A captain of a team is supposed to lead by example, not have the tall soap box to stand on to complain. If he comes here, he will throw the salary cap structure out the window. Bad enough Mika will push the $8-10m/ year very soon. Then I’m a few more years we’ll have Chytil, Kaapo, Lafreniere, Fox......and on and on
- rangerbluelou

The salary part you’re right, but the player part you’re wrong. He wants out of there because he wants to win and win cups and he sees that it will not happen there...you don’t want that on your team? A players desire to win?

Hughes has looked great this year, not sure Kakko looked better than Hughes but Kakko definitely looked better than last year. I’m split, reason being is centers are so much harder to find than wingers. On the wings we’d still have Kreider Panarin Buch Kravtsov Barron Gauthier as a potential top 9, not saying I’d want to switch but makes you wonder if we’d be better off.

It's actually round and just better than Ellio's is probably all the description you need on that one. We wern't necessarily poor, but my dad was awful with money. So while plenty of times we had nicer things, there were also plenty of times where you had the Ellio's/Tombstone thing or something that to this day I won't touch, dry beef and gravy

If you don't know, you probably don't want to know. You actually can buy dry chipped beef in a can or pouch and of course you put gravy on it. It's nickname is s*&t on a shingle and it's probably pretty accurate.

Yeah, Kakko should have way more points than he has had too. Just some awful puck luck. I'm hoping that he can pick up where he left off.

Def an old school military thing. My gf's grandfather had it as his last meal over the summer. Said it was the "first good thing he ate after spending years in Vietnam". You can only imagine what they were eating over there

I ended up looking it up. Chipped beef is something I have wanted to try. It looks like something I would enjoy actually.

I like something that most people think is gross. If any of you have had Deviled Chicken. It's really good on toast. It's in the same vein as chipped beef, crap food in a can or dried.

It was years later until I found out that's where it started. For all I knew it tasted like, money was really tight this week, here's what you having for dinner. You ever get the already candied glazed ham in the can? That was another crappy dinner I won't touch.
