My point was more about the fact that Zib has been nothing less than sensational for us for a bunch of years. We even call it the greatest steal trade in the history of the franchise and after 19 games when he has a shooting percentage under 3%, we turn on him and think his career is over - he is 27 not 37. I get Jimbro's point about that NMC but I don't think it should even get to that!! And you can live in Toronto and play in Buffalo- its close by

the only way I ever see Zib traded is if by this time next year, he still hasn't signed an extension and the Rangers are out of it again, then I could see him taking a deal to a contender before he becomes a UFA

What is the speculative timeline on Schneider playing for the Rangers?
How much of a factor is his $400,000 performance bonus going to be in getting him into the line up? If it's 2 more years, we have like 6 ELC's coming off the books. Hopefully, that means he can step in as soon as he's deemed ready.

His call up to the Rangers definitely will depend on his camp. Say he has a great camp for next season, it would also depend on if JJ and Smith are even with the Rangers anymore. Schneider is needed on this teams backend for sure.

Too hard to tell at the time. His signing is likely due to the WHL season being basically a wash. They probably want to keep him active so he doesn't miss a season.

My guess is the AHL this year and next. +/- half a season
