currently among head coaches, only Alain Vigneault lol, doesn't mean there aren't assistants who'll get promoted, or guys from the minors like Benoit Groulx who'll eventually get the nudge... it's perfectly normal there aren't that many in the first place, because it's basically the population of Qc VS rest of Canada and the US, and I doubt there would be a sudden lack of interest for them because the habs decided to stop considering it as a hiring criterion. and also it doesn't prevent the habs from continuing to promote qualified francophones either
