I think I missed that one... what's the story with checking the stats?

Why was Waite fire after the 2nd period? Why not wait until after the game or the next morning.

Berg is keeping it consistent as the guy who trades and fires people mid-game. At least he probably paid for his taxi.

It's happened a few times but the jist of it is person X makes a questionable argument, somebody then questions them on it, person X then states in all caps CHECK THE STATS! while refusing to provide the stats themselves that they claim to have checked and based their argument on. Finally somebody decides to check the stats and it turns out the stats don't even come close to suggesting what person X is loudly arguing and through the process has become so angry they start insulting everybody that questions them.

Somebody a few weeks back insisted Mete was the Habs best d man if you checked the stats. Then I did and it didn't go well for the other poster

Somebody did it about Gallagher recently too, although in his defense, while he didn't provide the stats he was correct in that Gallgher has never scored in OT. Either way, it's now official if somebody says check the stats without providing them they are immediately docked points for pooptyness

The Gallagher thing was just yesterday and I still don't really agree, same with the Anderson claim... Anderson has scored a few OT goals, just not in Montreal...

I forgot that Gauthier was a thing. In comparison, Bergevin is a saint.
