My perspective is if you want kids, have kids, rock and roll, I hope you're physically and financially able and that the kids are healthy...but stop assuming anybody else wants what you want or wants your life. I grow so tired of people assuming kids are something everybody MUST have

Sounds like you get a lot of pressure from your friends' circle
Also, you don't need to be that wealthy to have kids, i've seen plenty of poor families doing just fine and being happy. However, having healhty kids is the best gift you can get.

When I say financially I mean don't expect society and tax payers to pay for your kid and don't have a kid if you can't provide what that kid needs without handouts. I also don't want somebody to ruin their life because they have kids they can't afford and they end up in a spiral of debt and depression. The kids matter so the parents need to make responsible decisions and that doesn't always happen and the kid normally suffers
