Came in playing pretty well and has dropped off since. He actually played better when he was on our third line which is where he would best be served. But can fill in if injures hit.

My bet is if Sid misses 3-4 games Malkins "poor conditioning" magically goes away very fast.

Yeah McCann is a good choice to fill in at 2C or 2LW when we have a top 6 injury. But he can't be both. At this point I'd take ERod back.

Why? Everyone is still under contract. Hopefully we have an added top 6 winger for next season too. Next year has POTENTIAL to be a better team but we'll see..

I'm so very curious to see how Hextall plays the hand he's been dealt. On the one hand, I want to wish him the very best and on the other... well.. Penguins/Flyers, you know... Now, I *would* be shocked to see Guentzel go this quickly. I would think he would go once a rebuild is fully underway.

Also, the news of Crosby being in Covid protocol is quite frankly brutal. This was always going to be a weird and difficult year, but its almost like its not really NHL level hockey and we're playing Russian Roulette with who is in and out of any given lineup at any given time. (BOOM! You got the 'rona, have a seat!)
