Anything is possible but unless there is an injury, all key players are going to play unless the coach sees that a player is not playing up to par due to being sluggish. It's a 56 games season, possibly shorter. There isn't much room for error in a tight division. I don't see AV giving any key player time off unless they absolutely need it.

Unless it's something universally and abnormally abhorrent, like McSorley teeing off on Brashear's head or something, broacast staff should tone down the outrage and keep it professional.

I don’t think it is; I think losing sucks and kids are more vocal about their displeasure about it. Plain and simple.

Sometimes they need to be reminded it takes time to build, although Buffalo appears to be doing a nice job of mismanaging their situation there, Mario Lemieux won in his 7th year, Joe Sakic in his 8th, Steve Yzerman in his 14th year, etc. etc.

I just hope the pens extend one or two beyond regulation. I don’t care if the flyers accumulate points at this point. I don’t view them as direct competition for a playoff spot to be honest, even this early on.
