You will pay 15-25k per year playing tier 1 hockey in the US. Just think how many great athletes cant play....

Yup....and it only will get more expensive ....then again my 3 daughters are all in competitive dance and those costs are no cheaper.

It is a complete legal way to print money. They have people lining up to pay; despite majority not being tier 1 level.

Someone else said not to question a v. I get it.

But even with tk on 4 th line. Still think I put patty there and move up NAK. Spot fill nopa and tk up as needed. Bun sits. Just bc tk and nopa played together. Raf plays with anyone. NAK will beast thee forecheck for Hayes and g. If you get a pass shoot.

Thank goodness there are still plenty of people left in the world who aren't cynical, apathetic, jaded, et cetera like some others around here.

Having 13 forwards you trust and having to sit a guy here and there isn't the end of the world. Hopefully, TK plays well this evening. AV might be rotating some players over the next month. They have 1000 games in 30 days. NoPa might be next.

I've never had any respect for Crosby. Great player, but he has no honor.

People have become so quick to forget how big of a rat he was, obviously matured now but geez. Think my favorite F you moment to him was when kovalchuk wired one home and then pointed to him in the box

Yes, Crosby's a fight-dodging little Richard, but Therien went full on Jack Edwards there.

Were it reversed I can easily imagine a commentator saying that Crosby did nothing but play to the whistle and was standing up for himself by getting on Hartnell and then Adams came in and did what he was supposed to do in standing up for his captain and leader.

Nothing but partisan ranting, and the bases eat it up.

hmmm...

I wouldn't read too much into the line changes that AV is putting out there. Flyers have 6 games in 9 days, so I expect some starters to get a day off here and there.

Cid got the Vid. Gotta get points against the Pens with Cindy out.

Unless it's something universally and abnormally abhorrent, like McSorley teeing off on Brashear's head or something, broacast staff should tone down the outrage and keep it professional.

What Crosby did there wasn't that unusual for a competitive hockey rivalry. Neither was the aftermath. And did anybody really expect a superstar coming off concussions to answer the bell for his own chickenpoop antics?

Therien acted all surprised.

Every team is in the same spot with games tight in the schedule. I think we'll see some marginal players in and out of the lineup such as Haag, Gustafsson, Bunnaman, Aube-Kubel and possibly Patrick. Elliott will also get starts. Other than that, if healthy all the other player are likely going to play every game. Ice time will need to be monitored and roll all 4 lines. No room to back off.

He shouldn't have been surprised. He knows that Crosby never answers the bell. He just sucker punches guys to the nuts when they are being held down by teammates. Then waits for the refs to rescue him before he gets his ass handed to him.

It’s possible we also see maintenance game off for guys who need a rest here and there. The Flyers have good depth they can use to try to keep everyone as healthy as possible.
