And guessing this means he will not be in the next two games. Maybe sat but that seems early.

At a minimum, I expect He will need a couple of negative tests after like a week? Not sure.

So I guess this Patrick at wing thing is going to continue?

Bunnaman is defensively responsible, and a decent forechecker but I don't see him being an NHL regular. He has next to zero offensive ability.

I don't get it. Like Aube-Kubel's game. He gets a bit overzealous on occasion and takes some bad penalties, but other then that he's played well.

Chance to really take advantage of the schedule , 3 in a row against a team without their best player. Hopefully we don’t get any cancellations

seems unfair to Pittsburgh to have to play under these conditions

I agree, however I don't recall him taking bad ones in Buffalo, but my memory may be failing me.

Agree. Was intrigued with patty on that line with the board work that he and raf do.

@NHLFlyers: Lineup changes: Per AV, Travis Konecny will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Penguins. He will skate on a line with Michael Raffl and Connor Bunnaman. Nic Aube-Kubel will come out of the lineup. #PHIvsPIT

I don't believe he did either. There were a few games before that he took a couple of dumb penalties though.

Off topic on NHL radio they're discussing if Buffalo is going to trade Eichel and what teams would give up for him. I think there are some hockeybuzz posters calling in with suggestions. One caller actually stated that Eichel would be a 3rd line center on every team in the league. Can't make it up.

Let's keep in mind that even during Couturier's low scoring years, his ES point totals were at a 2nd line level in many years.
- MJL

And Couturier's point totals doubled once they doubled his PP time. During his first 6 years, Couturier average a little over a minute of PP time per game. In the last 3 seasons and so far this year, he has averaged over 3 minutes of PP time per game. So far this season, Patrick is averaging over 2 minutes of PP time per game, but thus far its not translating the same way.

Based on my limited viewing of him this season he's not captain material and seems immature - like he's not giving 100% because the team is bad.

Definitely a very skilled player, though.

Hopefully no one else has it and is playing against us tonight, as mentioned, another breakout for the Flyers would be

If he is in the covid protocol, doesn't that mean is out a minimum of 14 days?

There is something seriously wrong with that team. Hall is not scoring. Skinner forgot how to score. Eichel is struggling. Something in the water out there.

NAK had a great couple of games versus Buffalo, and in general he is one of the few on this team that brings it each and every game. With that said, the Flyers have a lot of games coming up in March so I expect that players will be swapped each game to keep them fresh and based on match ups.

Yes can we put whoever was complaining about that before in charge. An 0 for 3 is basically season on life support.
