He may also grab a few more Galchenyuk like depth options for low picks.

As for the D I think we are pretty good...Maybe a depth add but I like our depth and top 4.

Engvall the past 3 games has been very good.

The potential with him is very good. he has the tools and the skill/skating to be a 3C. Its up to him if he wants to be consistently.

I think best punishment would be to leave Chiasson in line up.

Being in different divisions (Bolts and Leafs), I haven't been following the Leafs as closely as I usually do. So, I have a couple of questions for the Leafs fans :

1) How is Bogosian doing? Is he a pylon, or is he providing value?
Pylon most games - last games he's been surprisingly good. Dermott helps him a lot.

2) How does Jumbo Joe look? I heard he broke a rib and missed some time, but seemed to be contributing before that. How much gas does he have left in the tank?
Great - he's getting better and better.


3) Goaltending. Which Andersen are you getting so far this year?

Regular Andersen during the season (so quite ok).
The issues with him have always been in the playoffs though.

2 years with a 3M cap hit and would give the Leafs a 2LW option plus a cheap C replacement for Kerfoot next year. Not sure if he is a fit with his skating....but I hear it has improved. But maybe JT is a good match with him?

engvall was already on of the best leafs second half of last season - and in particular during the playin series vs columbus.
most of you didn't even notice ... and said engvall was a fringe nhl'er or 'expendable'.

They have a couple lads that would look nice in our bottom 6. They’d have a little more help here. That Archibald kid hits like a truck...

As EDM has shown, its not super easy to build around your star players.

The Leafs built up some elite talent...it made them a good team. Now they have built around them the last few years and now they are a really good team.
