Mike Babcock was fired after the 23rd game last season. His record was 9-10-4 at the time.
Sheldon Keefe's record after 23 games in his first full season on the job with the Leafs: 17-4-2.

I think this is the second positive tweet in a row from Simmons.

You can if you go bow hunting. - AdamFrench
Not really. The Canadian Tires around the GTA all stock nothing but kiddy bows with 10lb draws, but the arrows they sell are usually spined for 70lb+ compound bows. Meanwhile, the screw on broad heads are mostly for crossbow bolts.
Whoever stocks CT's archery department doesn't have a clue.

Bogosian was a good add. He isn't hurting us, which is as much as can be asked
Thornton started out looking lost, started to look a bit better, then got injured and cam back strong. Honestly, he has been better than I expected. It is tough to say what effect he has had in the room, but the team looks different.
Andersen is the same. He can look great, but lets in a softie pretty much once a game. sometimes more. I have zero faith in him in the playoffs. I don't see better options though. Campbell has not been tested over a full season. My biggest hope for Andersen is that he gets some rest this season, which may happen if the Leafs continue to play well. - Aetherial
My impression of Bogo in Tampa was about the same. At first, I was scratching my head because the consensus on the guy seemed to be that he was tapped out and a pylon. In hindsight, he probably just wanted out of that dumpster fire in Buffalo. Surround him with a quality team and he thrives. I like what he brought to Tampa in his limited role. Even when they shackled him to Hedman a few times, he didn't look terrible - obviously a testament to Hedman's ability more than Bogo's, but it proved he could handle a bigger role with the right partner and deployment.
I'm conflicted about Jumbo - I want to see him hoist the Cup before he retires, but that obviously won't be with Tampa, so hopefully it won't come at the Bolts' expense if he wins one.

He could take you to a range for sure. Anyone can go shooting. - bixll
Try finding a freaking public range in Ontario. Last time I went, I had to the police training range and have a friend escort me...I guess it was my fault for bringing my CZ-75.

There used to be one in Union Station in Toronto.
Of course, it had to be removed because despite the fact that there was never any problem ever, it had to be removed because it had to be removed.

After all the players had left the ice last night, refs took a look at the replay and made the call on Chiasson. Leafs players were furious and imploring the refs to look at it as they left the ice. Hearing today for Chiasson.

Love the comments... yeah the Leafs getting the fewest PP's over the course of years and getting the worst playoff suspensions ever in consecutive years, just screams of favoritism.
The rest of Canada is going through extreme butthurt.

I would love Dubas to get Watson. He could deal with guys like Chiasson while Wayne away. Would be perfect player for us in playoffs too. And his contract is cheap.

We have Simmonds and Bogo for that. I do like Watson though. But we’re trucking along no need to upset the apple cart yet.
