I thought so, why I asked. Nothing wrong with being passionate.
- LAHawk

I wasn't expecting to be anxious, aggravated and pissed off during games this season.

But here we are.

What is your expectation? What result would ruin your weekend?

I would be ecstatic if they got 3 points.

PP1 was a lot better with Strome and Shaw out there. No Strome means more Highmore, which I think is a big net loss. Highmore is like Fortin was. Gets a look see because he is a plus skater, but the hands and the brain are far behind.
- LAHawk

Wrong player. We get more Wallmark. So we pretty much get the same thing aside from some point on the PP. We barely know either Strome or Wallmark are in the line-up.

I say that about myself to the babes. Unfortunately, they seem to believe my listed weight.
- mohel

I’m close to 200 lbs.

And if I lost 10 lbs., I’d be even closer....

Nicolas Beaudin said he understood the decision to send him to Rockford.

"I think it's an opportunity for me to play big minutes. I understand that there's six, seven good defenmsen up in the lineup right now, and they're all playing really well right now. The team's winning."

Jeremy Colliton reluctant to give any sort of detail about Brent Seabrook's progress as he works his way back from a back injury. All he would say is that Seabrook is around and has been on the ice a few times.

Seriously. Who knew the players actually get communication from the coach/team...

I recall vabeach raving about Ian when he played in college, he has been such a pleasant surprise, not va but Ian to be clear, now i hear Elbows singing the praises of Kaiser, of course we will have to endure the will he sign won't he sign period, so i have to say when he's ready to take the leap hopefully with us looking forward to seeing him in the future.

TBF, I have only watched Kaiser twice so far. So take it with a barge of salt. Mitchell's hockey IQ was the first thing I noticed. Mitchell was more rounded right off the bat.

Kaiser is bigger than I thought from the scouting reports. I like Kaiser and my first thought was whoa, the Hawks may have something here. You definitely know he is on the ice. His defense is solid for a freshman. Offensively he is smart and aggressive. Not in a reckless way tho.

Funny part of this is when I go to watch a Hawk prospect I mute the TV for awhile to see if anyone stands out to me. It took me awhile to figure out which player was Kaiser because I was expecting a smaller dude. I kept wondering who the heck is this guy wearing #5.

- Elbows15

Thanks, that all sounds great, especially since you thought he stood out and didn't realize it was Kaiser, hopefully he keeps trending in the right direction, which sounds like Reichel is doing.

That's been my observation with Hagel even last year when he was in Rockford. His kamikaze style could catch up to him. You love the fire in his belly but he puts himself in vulnerable positions sometimes.

Seems to me to be a very difficult thing to out coach someone, just like coaching someone who is a bit sheepish, to suddenly be a tough player.

For the most part, I think guys are who they are.

Maybe the best thing to do is accept the fact you may only have him for 3 - 5 years, cause it seems to me if he doesn't play the way he plays now, he really wouldn't make the team.

That is funny, the same thing kind of for me and Mitchell, was watching the game, and thought, who is this Mitchell guy, as the game went on and he stood out, it started to sound familiar, I went to the Blackhawks website and looked at Prospects in the system and saw he was the 2nd round pick.

Watched more and realized he was only a Frosh, and said, the Hawks have something here.

Sounds like Dallas may have a real home ice advantage by the playoffs, if they make it. Texas is removing the mask mandate and opening 100%. I imagine both FL teams will as well. Not sure about the Canes.

Well hopefully both these kids work out. Watching the 5-2 loss to the Wings, right after Cat scored to tie it up, Suter doesn't do his job and immediately after the goal is scored, it sure looked like Mitcell said, awwwww who's (frank)ing guy was that!

We’ll see. If the hospitals start to overflow they’ll have to shut it back down again.

Seabs would still be a better option for the PK than the Oaf. Funny we never hear anything about Zach Smith. Just like when they pushed Khabby down the stairs and he just faded away.

Reichel is a scrappy (frank)er. He is reportedly about 9 lbs heavier than when drafted. Even last year as a 17 year old, he was willing to mix it up along the walls. Got knocked on his ass a bit but would bounce up and pursue the puck.

I know you've compared him to TT, which would be very nice. But that sounds like TT, plus some Hagel. That would be even better.
