rewatched that hyman/smith "collision"
so dumb, its smiths own players stick that catches him in the side of he head, and Hyman is not going to touch him, but smith reaches out to make contact with his glove, then falls over like he was shot
what a loser - senstroll
He's a big time diver, but tough as nails when it comes to throwing down which makes it even funnier. Pick a lane, loser are you tough or are you 10 ply?

Totally get it. I disliked it until I found the type of scotch I liked. If it’s not peaty and smokey I’m not super interested.
Side note - if that’s your go to birthday gift we need to be friends. 😁😎 - Cush29

Discounting his rookie season, it has happened 4 times:
2019-20 October 20 & 22 against Winnipeg & Minnesota
2017-18 March 31 & April 2 against Calgary & Minnesota
2017-18 December 31 & January 2 - Winnipeg & LA
2016-17 October 30 & November 1 against Ottawa & Toronto
It didn't happen at all in the 2018-19 season |

They are a different team defensively.
This is the best defensive Leafs team I have seen since...ever?
At least since the Burns era. - Atomic Wedgie
Keefe was really praising Tavares for his defensive work.
I know you always need to take that stuff with a grain of salt, but Tavares could be struggling because he is playing a different role right now? |

He's going to want out eventually. If he doesn't already. - AdamFrench
I would be very surprised if he didn't want out. I suspect that is part of the problem.

He hasn't seemed as awful the last couple games. The Ottawa game was probably the low point. The whole team got rattled, including the goalie. |

It's possible? One thing I noticed was that he seemed to be behind on the play a fair bit, but maybe that's by design as the late forward? The Athletic made a comment that I found rather specific about his game last night, "he had a lot of important touches to move the puck on to the Leafs’ quicker forwards in transition".
If the idea is that the speedier wingers carry the puck in, and Tavares trails back in the play, it could be an adjustment that he's still struggling with in terms of finding his offensive placement?
He still seems to be struggling to corral the puck, or make clean passes or even find a good spot to shoot from - which he has typically always been able to do. |

He is far from the biggest issue the Leafs have going forward.
This is all about getting their game set for the playoffs, from here on in. |

I may be right on one Wedgie Thread pick: Leafs clinch first. I think I had Auston with the Rocket but have conveniently forgotten the rest.
(All those games with Jets at end could (frank) up timing of clinching) |
