I am also convinced he'll get his poop together, I can't imagine him sucking this bad until the end of his contract, it just doesn't make sense. if it was related to an injury then it might be possible but since it's clearly between the ears he'll find a solution eventually
- Pat1993

With goalies it can be a lot of things. A lingering injury that isn't debilitating but impacts their reaction timing and ability to stretch all the way to something between the ears. With Price over the years we've seen both but he always eventually figures it out. I'm of the belief you need to do what it takes to get him to figure it out and try and tread water until then

To go to the AHL? Pretty unlikely I'd say!

I agree but it seems to be pretty complicated to the coaching staff

I get what you're saying, but that info needs to be shared if that's the case, it would take a certain amount of pressure off his shoulders

You don't know anything about her. She miht e psycho controll freak who is abusive.

But that's not what I was implying. The greater majority of marriages end in divorce. Sometimes when it goes bad it goes really bad and it spills over into your professional life. Its not uncommon and hockey playes aren't immune to it.

If you use process of elimination you come to the conclusion that his problems are in his head. Literally every hockey analyst has come to that conclusion. He hasn't slowed down one bit, he's just as fast as he was as a rookie. His technique is great, he's had enough time to perfect it. He's had time to adjust to the new equipment sizes like every other goalie in the league. He's not a kid still learning his craft. Theres no chance in hell that he's tired.

I mean, it's not even that much of a stretch to suggest that his lack of focus comes from off ice issues.

bah, I don't think Ducharme was "intimated" in putting Price back in tonight or whatever

Do you want opponents to know that stuff? Especially when two of the six teams you play against have a Tkachuk playing for them? Iy wouldn't surprise me seeing how much his positioning has been off

he'll pull out of this. and given the tire fire that this division is behind Toronto, Montreal still might be in striking distance of a playoff spot when he does. i just don't understand why he has to pull himself out of this while giving up 4-5 goals/game.

neither. you can't really ignore the fact that they are literally stuck with Price, and benching the guy indefinitely is simply not an option

How long before it becomes an option? Florida is doing it and leading the division

You're an incel dullard who posts on hockeybuzz 24/7 , you should be a little less judgmental of others. I dont work for a tabloid, I'm a guy in a hockey forum speculating why a goalie has problems focusing for months at a time every year since he got married. It's not crazy to think his lack of focus comes from off ice issues.

I doubt he needs an injury confirmation to do so
