I had made a similar point a while back about Danault and got some pushback. Rather than be an ass about it I chose to take a step back and think about the situation and realized I was wrong and let it die. This guy chose a different path when he came across the same fork in the road and doubled down.

But that's not what I was implying. The greater majority of marriages end in divorce. Sometimes when it goes bad it goes really bad and it spills over into your professional life. Its not uncommon and hockey playes aren't immune to it.

If you use process of elimination you come to the conclusion that his problems are in his head. Literally every hockey analyst has come to that conclusion. He hasn't slowed down one bit, he's just as fast as he was as a rookie. His technique is great, he's had enough time to perfect it. He's had time to adjust to the new equipment sizes like every other goalie in the league. He's not a kid still learning his craft. Theres no chance in hell that he's tired.
