I'm perfectly fine with Blueger playing 3C. Upgrading the wings and 4C (Glendening actually seems like a good chooice and a Sully player) seems like a pretty good move IMO.

Sure I agree with that. I'd just rather run Blueger at 3C and see if he continues as a decent option before adding an expensive vet we're hoping will rebound.

But isn't Glendening kinda bad? I took it as Feds trying to unload a bad player.

So first of all PIT spends the most 5v5 time per game trailing by 1. They have the 7th worst xGF% trailing by 1. 5th worst CF%. 4th best PDO. They aren’t a good team.

Listen, I'm grasping at straws on some of this poop, searching for some silver linings in other areas and believe there are some. There's something there that hasn't been there the past few seasons a lot of nights but the roster is lacklustre in areas, no fn question.

Tatar helps the top 6. Gusev does not. Both are also LWs so not sure if that is a bigger need than RW?

Zucker and Kap are THE upgrades to the bottom six. No point in moving them out if you already have 2 guys who are fits for the third line.

Well I mean more a 3C. I know Blueger is the defacto 3C now, but I think the Pens can do better.

Regardless, I could see Zucker-McCann-Kapaenen either clicking or being the most frustrating line we've ever seen and I mean frustrating to watch, not play against lol

Also, not sure if anyone mentioned it, but Sid is on covid protocol. Not playing against Philly. That should be a fun game.
