Like you said, Quinn has moved other youngsters to the top of the lineup. Just maybe Gaut hasn't showed him that he deserves it Kreider is a physical specimen, as well, but even he goes missing for multiple games on end. Physical prowess doesn't automatically equate to success.

Bingo. He was a first rd pick for a reason, and it wasn’t to be a 4th liner. If he showed nothing I’d get the other side, but he shows enough flashes for me. This is not Brett Howden we’re talking about, he may be able to score 20 a season if he gets a fair chance

so Gauthier is inevitably going to get lesser minutes again
