Can't speak from experience but anyone I know who has done it or anyone I have had to deal with who is on it sure seems pretty wired with crazy levels of engergy.

I thought that was the deal but it doesn't last so you have to do more and more and then your nose bleeds all the time and you die. Isn't that how it works?

- Cush29

I guess it depends on how much you do.. I few rails and you're probably pretty amped up..

I have had occasion to do it twice in my life, both times at company Christmas parties. I was much younger of course but what I remember is that it was a fantastic high. It terrifies me because of that.
- Aetherial

Terrified me too when I did it in my early 20s. No thank you.

My college roommates friends who got addicted ended up homeless because of it. Spent all their utility money, rent money on the junk and then obviously next step was to skip work. Hope they got help and are in a better place now!

If only you'd known me in Montreal during my 20s.

That being said, anybody that continues like that well into their 30s probably doesn't live super long.

Except for a few single malts now and then, it was all beer out on the town and wine at home when I turned 40. It's the booze that kills you. Red wine is pure f'n medicine

Any kind of booze gives me a headache and a dry mouth the next day these days. I guess getting older means spending your heard earned money on higher quality, lower quantity.

If I'm gonna feel like dying after drinking a bottle of wine, I'm gonna make it worthwhile.

i felt like that from booze when i used to smoke weed.

you gotta build up a tolerance, and stick to a certain drink. I can drink 6 white claws and feel fine the next day, but i had 3 IPA draughts at the pub last week, and felt like poop the next day.

It’s amazing how hard you can abuse your body when young and unless my neurologist has some poopty news on Wednesday or some bozo coughs on me, I’m probably gonna hit 68 anyway.

But yeah, I bowed out at about 20 and didn’t drink and just smoked some after that.

I'm going to guess that the worst part was the number of drinks you were able to put back afterwards.
- TheMussel

The company was a high end hotel chain. So the meal spread and drinks were crazy and we all got rooms. Those Christmas parties were the best

I get deathly sick from either one, and they are the only drinks that I actually like. I haven’t been drunk in 20 years because of the hangovers.

My drinking at home is up from Covid, but probably not changed overall maybe even dropped.

Nothing like 20's and 30's though. There definitely comes an age where you just cant do it any more. If you push through that somehow, it never looks good.

There comes a time when you probably shouldn't do it either even if you could.

When you tell your doctor how many drinks you have in a week and all they can do is shake their head

I used to be the one paying the bar bills and later getting the receipts through the company system. Man I had trouble explaining a few of those

4am CET start of game means I will miss Woll's debut for the Leafs... :/ (if McDavid is indeed having a great game that it - however I expect the Hyman line to give McD lots of troubles tonight)

Even if Hutchinson gives up 4 goals in the first, Keefe should probably think twice about having Woll making his debut in a bad situation..
