I will wear the same Leafs jersey I have worn for the past 2 wins, drink the same # of beer during the game, get the same disappointing look for doing both from Mrs. Cush and be tired tomorrow or tired and grumpy depending on the result of the game.

Only smart thing I did was to move my 8am meeting to 10am so nothing before then now.

Damn straight. I have a Leaf hoodie. They always lose when I wear it on game days. It has sat on a heap on my dresser since January.

I wear a jersey until they lose - then it goes into the wash and I throw on another one.....What can I say? Stupid goalie stupid superstitions.

Mine is worse.

I don't watch a lot of games because I think I curse them by watching.

Me too, I swear every time I join a game in progress we get scored on less than a minute later.

We had a friend like that - we used to call her and ask "are you watching the game right now"? If the answer was yes we all yelled "turn it off we need this win"! lol

Gen X here but it is very "Boomer like behaviour" to move early am meetings to allow myself to stay up late - I fully admit that.

I remember when drinking until 130 or 2, then crashing for 4 hours & being able to go full throttle all day without issue and then repeat for days on end was the norm.

Those were also the days of eating as much terrible food as you wanted and never gaining a pound.

I miss all of those things.

Could always start on the booger sugar if I really wanted to live like that again I suppose.

Can't speak from experience but anyone I know who has done it or anyone I have had to deal with who is on it sure seems pretty wired with crazy levels of engergy.

I thought that was the deal but it doesn't last so you have to do more and more and then your nose bleeds all the time and you die. Isn't that how it works?

It never fails, I saw a scoreboard that showed them up 3-0 against Edmonton and I would not watch the 3rd.

I always say to people that the worst thing about getting old isn't the hair loss, hearing loss, lack of energy, lower T ... it is definitely that you can't eat what you want.
Man I would be 400 pounds if I ate whatever I wanted.

If only you'd known me in Montreal during my 20s.

That being said, anybody that continues like that well into their 30s probably doesn't live super long.

From Chris Johnston

Leafs goalie carousel spins away: Jack Campbell sidelined with undisclosed issue after posting a shutout Saturday, and Frederik Andersen continues to work his way back from lower-body injury.

- bryant

The Leafs have the luxury of "load management" right now and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what management is trying to do.

Also, just saying he's injured is easier than stirring up the media with goal controversary bullpoop.

I have had occasion to do it twice in my life, both times at company Christmas parties. I was much younger of course but what I remember is that it was a fantastic high. It terrifies me because of that.

I'm going to guess that the worst part was the number of drinks you were able to put back afterwards.
