Heinen and Virtanen have been discussed but if both teams decide to move forward in talks, probably not a 1 for 1 deal... would be another component to make the money work I think. And that’s if they decide to keep talking. Not sure.

I was listening to him a couple weeks back him and Tim were telling funny stories of each other. Good deal for him more publicity.

Also it brings me to a deeper issue with fans. Most fans agree Myers is a decent NHL player but hate him because he is overpaid. To me that’s absurd. Hating Loui for his contact makes sense as he isn’t even an NHL player.

I don't hate Myers per se, but I hate his contract. I'll probably dislike it even more in a couple of years but what I really dislike is the roster is littered with bad contracts.

What it took to stop handing them out was not restraint, but an owner saying cut costs.

It's hard to blame the owner for that with the whole no gate revenue idea, concessions, merchandise, etc.

He's busy working the phones.

I’ll butcher the spelling and don’t care to look them up, but Tim McCallum came up in sports with The Score (when it was a thing) covered CFL and wrestling I think. He’s a regular contributor on SN650 am radio in Vancouver. Sid Seixero is a bit of a loud mouth Toronto guy. Together they had a radio show in Toronto that SN broadcast on TV in the prime afternoon slot.

I like Tim Micallef he’s good at what he does. Sid was there for comic relief only. I didn’t mind them in small doses.

I only turn on sports channels to watch sports, I don`t listen to what they say, most of the time I mute the between period babble. Formula 1 is the only reason I turn on TSN.
