they fell behind 3-1 and were getting caved in by one of the league's true doormats, a 2 nights after having lost to them in a poopty performance. that right then and there told us everything we needed to know. that they got their Richards up for a few shifts didn't change anything. they barely showed up for these 2 games.

i don't know if this move helps at all but Julien's tenure has been marked by solid 10-game stretches followed by prolonged episodes in the tank. they could never just lose a game or two. it always had to be these weeks-long suicide marches where every aspect of their game went into the toilet. it was constantly the case with the exception of the first half of the 18-19 season.

The issue is the french media and the French Nationalist will make Molson's life a living hell. The media roasted Molson and they had s protest when Cunneyworth was the interim coach. Some politicians also got involved. The audacity the team had to have an interim coach that couldn't speak french. To them it would be better off to pull someone off the street that hasn't held a hockey stick.
