Hopefully they are fun to watch like at the beginning of the season. I don't know much about Ducharme, but apparently his teams are offensive minded first.
- stinger67

yeah I don't expect them to go back to the same pace they were on early in the season (pretty much unsustainable, but if they do that's (frank)ing amazing) but something much closer to that than they are playing now, which is just turrible.

an old buddy of mine ate a hundred wings on $9.99 all you can eat wings night. the waitress was so pissed because they came out in baskets of 10 each and every time she took his basket he leaned back and said "10 more"

oh man one time back when some of us played on a team in a local ball hockey league... the night before a game we went out an WaterBoy ordered the super duper suicide sauce at a pub to show everyone how tough he was.

yadda yadda yadda... he didn't make it to the game the next day.

I just hope PLD doesn't ruin everything. Not a big fan of having him in the our division now.
- Fredobbface

He's been good there so far. Being able to play him as a 2C and Statsy as a 3C is real depth

what i hope to see from Ducharme is the ability to adjust to the in-game scenario. this is something we never saw with Julien. if the Habs had a miserable time generating offense in the first period, you knew that was going to be the case all night.

He's the type of player they always have trouble handling. They can shut down a unidimensionnal player like Laine. But a big workhouse that grinds the puck into the net always has success agaisnt the habs.

yup, Ducharme was mentioning that making in-game adjustments was part of his previous role, but clearly he didn't have much leverage and Clode had the final say, whereas now he'll be able to implement his own strategy 100%. should be interesting
