. C'est Dominique Ducharme qui avait proposé de jouer un style plus ouvert et offensif en début de saison. |

I guess Claude found that offensive.
EDIT: First thing he found offensive in years. |

I'm also a little worried by the way he keeps getting canned for no apparent reasons

Now they need to upgrade that D.
Coaching/style is terrible as we speak. Seeing them all over the ice.

Considering the poop show that comes with it after naming a coach who doesn't speak french?
Probably.
For the record, I'd love Gallant as a coach for Montreal. But I think Ducharme will do great. - Scabeh
That in itself is an indicator that Montreal needs to change no? Why does someones language matter when coaching a team? The best soccer clubs in Europe don't give a poop what language someone speaks they just want to win, period. Sometimes they even got translators with em when dealing with the local media. |

Dominique Ducharme était assistant-coach chez le Junior de Montréal pendant les deux saisons au cours desquelles Jake Allen était le gardien partant.

Everyone agrees with that.
It's not the fans who are making a big deal out of this, it's the media.
But for what it's worth, there are plenty of quality coaches that speak french.
I don't see this as a real problem either way.

Honestly, nothing right now would make more sense than a 50/50 split between Price and Allen.
Let the guy giving you the results play more, it's that way for everyone else on the team, why not the Goalie?
We actually have a good 2nd goaltender this year too.

i would absolutely not arbitrarily split it 50-50 right now. start Allen tomorrow. if he performs, start him again Saturday. go from there. we've seen this with Price before. when he gets his head stuck up his ass like this it can last for weeks where he's just giving up 4-5 goals every night. |
