They have been carrying 8 all year. So why carry 8 when all where "healthy" ? What changed?

So they had:

Provorov
Braun
Hagg
Sanheim
Myers
Gus
Friedman
Ghost

IIRC that was the 8. And Ghost was in covid protocol. That was why as far as I remember.

And they have had injuries since. Now they are getting healthy and dont need 8. Why is this rocket science?

Man if Bunnaman get his hands to catch up to his feet
- wcorvette

Maybe with some more playing time he will chip in, don’t see it lasting long with guys coming off protocol tho.

So you guys mean to tell me that the same GM who talked the player up waived him, and there's not a disconnect between him and the coach?

he really has a 3 game window to make a best impression but if the Flyers are completely healthy and Patrick doesn't pick it up, it might be time for Patrick to sit, giving Bunnaman more of an opportunity

The GM should have trashed him!

Didn't say they do need 8. All I am saying is why waive him now when they have been carrying 8; when all 8 where healthy.

There is far more to gain by playing Patrick.

But when have all 8 been healthy for any extended period of time?

I get it, you are trying to hook with me. Sorry though not my type.

Quick question for you. Is it possible both the coach and GM have a differing opinion on Friedman? Yes or no?

of course there is and if there wasn't there would be a real issue but if Patrick doesn't pick it up, it is ok to sit him a game to watch.

Any 9 million contracts on this roster?

In the grand scheme when compared to the league in general we have NOTHING resembling that bad of a contract on this roster.

One of my friends was talking about the Bryz contract not too long ago and how it's embarrassing the Flyers are still paying him. I'm not really sure why people would care about that when it doesn't count against the cap.

Who? Vinny? AMac? Bryzgalov?

I actually am interested to hear what you compare the Skinner contract to when it comes to past Flyers contracts that you consider bad.

Off the books, Mike Richards is getting paid like ~$600k per year until 2030-something by the Kings. Let that sink in.

Richards grew his hair long, moved to the beach, has his supply of pain meds and refer and is selling corona's out of a small tiki hut
