At least we get to see the absolute splendor that is Moose's mask! - Bendecko
Haha. He’s been so good this year. The refs want to contribute to the blowout by not giving moose a Whistle when he covers it. Good work guys. |

This has to be tough for G, Jake, TK, Laughts, Oskar and Braun to see at home. I hope it lights a fire under them when they come back. - arichardson22

I get the logistical issues. I also understand how important playing this game and this season is financially for the league.
But the NHL has basically given a pass to teams, i.e the Devils, and allowed them to get mostly well and whole before returning to play.
How in the name of Zeus’ butthole do they allow the Flyers to come back and play with the lineup they have and the names they have out. This is not some sort of, “well you have to deal with struggles during the regular season” bullpoop like that hack Eddie O said. They legit have almost zero percent chance of winning some of these games.
Is there a standard? If so what is it? If you go a few days and no one gets added to the list? I get it, the Devils had 17 players. They didn’t have a team. But 6 to 8 guys puts a pretty big dent into your ability to ice a team. And just because they can ice one doesn’t mean they should.
Which is why this season is an embarrassment. Call it what you must, an attempt to keep the poopty franchises solvent, the ones that the league could do without anyway. Someone will win the Cup and it will go down in the record books. But everyone knows what this is. I had no problem with Tampa’s Cup last year, but this Stanley Cup is every bit of a joke as a baseball team winning the World Series after 60 games. |

I know they’re missing a bunch of good players, but they should still be able to get a shot in net during a pp. |

With basically no skill, it’s not a guarantee. Boston can easily shut them down. |

JVR got one.
EDIT: Sorta |

The sequence leading up to the 4th Bruins goal was brutal. They clearly needed a moment to reset. Why?...why does AV hardly ever use his timeout? You can’t save them; there is no roll-over. Sigh!

There’s making excuses and then there are facts.
This is the equivalent of a D league men’s league team having a canceled game rescheduled against an A league team because it was the only available makeup. In the summer, when the college kids are home.
Thanks NHL. At least you got your game right today. |

I’d give Elliott the next two. Hart can have the second game of the back to back next Sunday. |

I’m just talking about the pp. They have enough talent still on the team to at least get a shot on net during a power play. |

Time to give Moose some consecutive starts in net and let Hart sit and try get his game back mentally and get practice time in and work this out. |

Agreed, it feels like Bettman and league are just winging it with no consistent standards or protocols. |
