I am hoping he does well but ready for another look at Joey Anderson

I think Austin Watson would be a good fit for the Leafs. Some grit, kills penalties and could move up and down lineup. Also cheap contract.

We are officially one-third into the regular season and the Leafs improve to 14-3-2.

For comparison, at the one-third point of last season, the Leafs were 12-11-4 and were fresh off a coaching change.

Completely different feel to this team right now.

Both tonight and last game, I thought he’s had good stretches where he has had good legs and he looks real dangerous — like he is ready to break out. I just didn’t like some of the things here today once we got the lead as a team. I didn’t think we did great things in the second period. In the third period, we really got it going the way we wanted to. I didn’t think Willy matched that.

Decent depth from what it appears. Boyd a very nice addition. Good options to rotate some guys in and rest some guys through the season.
