As soon as Eberle and Barzal are near the puck hit them and pin them! They're giving them way too much space and they're gonna pay for it.

Bizarre play where it seems everyone on the ice turned their brain off. Malkin with a touchless pass, but it hits Zucker’s stick who wasn’t even looking to receive the puck when he 100% should have been. Matheson completely misses his assignment to go what I can only assume was slap POJ’s ass given that they were side by side just staring at Eberle. Nothing Jarry could do.

I’ve had enough with Zucker-Geno. They can play together. Have negative chemistry that’s dragging both of them down. I’d bet anything neither would be this bad away from each other.

I thought the pass was a little behind him and hit him in the skate (also, he looked very covered at the time). I'd have to watch it again, but that's what I remember seeing in real time.

I was against taking Guentz away from Sid a few games ago, but agreed, Zucker and Geno are pure trash together. Painful to watch.

Marshall broke it down frame by frame on Twitter. That was really all on MM.

Could have been. I was holding my baby who’s very floppy these days so I was distracted by little infant slaps to the face. Could have sworn it his has backhand, but regardless it was touchless. Too fast. Would have been tough to corral even if Zucker had been looking out.

Yeah, just low percentage and it doesn't really accomplish much. Better to drive the left wall and then try for the crease pass, low slot/circle pass, or drive the net yourself.

And yet he still trails the points lead by 3 to McDavid who has 23 assists.

That North Division is like a flashback to 80s hockey.

Obviously boycotting the Olympics is probably the right thing to do, but damn it wild rob us of a really (frank)ing good USA team and the Mathews vs. McDavid storyline at the peaks of both of their power would be must watch.

I'm pretty much done with him. If nothing else, he's just not worth $9.5M. Not even close. Even if he was playing well, he might be worth it. People need to remember that that's a huge amount of money and a large percentage of the cap.

If Pens play .500 hockey all season, I wonder what are their chances of getting into the playoffs as the 4th seed?

Lol Geno was literally a Hart candidate last year. If Geno is playing “well” he’s a bargain at $9.5. You understand that cap hits on new contracts are bonkers now that the cap has raised, right?
