Good thing Im on lots of meds, keeps me pretty mellow watching this fcking hockey team play like arseholes

Thanks man! Got real lucky, didnt need open heart surgery. They put in 2 stints as I had 100% blockage on one side 80% in the other & 40% in the 3rd artery. Meds & technology are truly amazing, I could have been toast 25 years ago. Amazing now that I have 100% blood flow the difference I feel. This caught me off guard, not over weight, not diabetic, semi retired so not stressed, walk my dog 2 hours a day, had regular check ups didnt have high cholesterol & my blood ressure was fine. Cant hide from genetics. Sucks getting old lol

Oh yeah, I've had awful knees and back since I was 15... turning 40 later this year and my weekend has been spent dealing with some crippling back pain and what feels like the beginnings of sciactica. Went shopping at Home Depot and my wife had to go get me a cart to lean on halfway through

Yeah I lived through all the different coaches. I gotta say the best coach was Badger Bob, he had a way to inspire a team against probably one of the best power house teams in history (fcking Oilers in the mid 80's) That team had talent but he Badger devised game plans for different teams & seemed to be able to bring the best in players. I remember before a playoff series with the Oilers he took the team out to Banff & they watched Raiders of the Lost Arc if I remember correctly. The other coach I liked was Terry Crisp, wins the Cup in Calgary, gets fired the next year & never coaches again, still has me scratching my head.

Ward needs to get the team to watch some films from a few years ago when we had the 2nd best team in the league, then for the Leaf game put Lindholm back on RW with Monahan & Gaudreau & buy a case of purple Gatorade & put behind them on the bench, put Tkachuk back with Backlund & Magpie & put Bennett with Lucic & Dube. Dont give a fck who is on the 4th line. A little nostalgia & a little recent & see if they can win a few hockey games.
