So Annie Lennox and Stewart dated - broke up - started a band.

Became billionaires

The end.

- Garnie

Same with the White Stripes!

Cults did that too, but they're not a big band. Not The Cult, Cults. Great band. Actually Metric did that too now that I think of it.

yeah, me too!

I sometimes wonder why people think computer services in general should be free... as if it takes no time at all for me to download stuff or figure poop out for them.

My favourite part of that video:

Prince, who just eviscerated everyone on stage with his performance, lobs the guitar over his head where it mysteriously disappears into the heavens (never to return?), and walks off like a boss.

Prince was something else.

Prince was a boss, just an unbelievably talented guy.

Not sure if it was an urban legend, but I remember it was said he played 23 instruments 'like a pro'...?

My wife saw him at some seedy bar in Detroit when she was a student. She and her then to be first husband were sitting near the stage when Prince did a guitar between the legs move and water (or something) shot out of his guitar all over her. She was so pissed, she left and ended up having to walk back to Windsor. She is still not a fan.

Kessel would be great to have back now if they retained.

He could teach Willie the rite way to play lazy.

I think they did date at 1 time? I’ll have to see what Dr. Google says...hold my beer.
- Garnie

Dangerous proposition, my friend. Which is to say, I really, really like beer -- doubly so when it's not mine.

The best part of this perfect post is that it came only 3 mins after the original.

Meg and Jack were actually married and divorced after the 1st album, IIRC.

Probably comes from a story that he played all the instruments on his debut album, 27 in all. He played guitar bass drums and keys at a professional level. I don't know if he played any horns, but it wouldn't be a surprise

Finished episode 1, some great stuff in there. LOVED That Cat Stevens song. I could have done without the section on Hip-hop. Good that the episode ended with another boss, Johnny Cash.

I have a friend who is half euro, half Trinidadian. Her sisters are identifiably part black, but she looks totally caucasian. You'd never think she was half black.
